I prefer open designs even when I practice boxing... maybe because I've practiced Judo. While using this gloves the feeling of each punch is quite different than with standard box gloves; it's closer to bare hands. If the punch is tilted or incorrect in some way it is easier to felt it.
This is maybe something of preference, but the correct grip is not easy to "get"... is it too low or too high? This doesn't happen with standard boxing gloves, but once they're correctly griped by trial and error they're much more comfortable. Basically the ventilation is much better and you can practice grappling without possible damages from bare hand. |
